2018 Highlights and Changes:
- 2018 is the 13th Annual Old Elvis Cup.
- Event is Friday, June 22, 2018.
- R.I.P. former champ Billy Casteel. Life taken too soon.
- R.I.P. longtime Participant Shawn Knight. The gambling won’t be the same without you!!

- 2017 Event was rained out in June and replayed in September 2017 for the first time ever.
- 2017 Top 4 teams were within 3 strokes of each other.
- CHANGING THE FORMAT TO 9 HOLES SCRAMBLE AND 18 HOLE BETTER BALL.
- The scramble and alternate shot format took too long.
- Gambling afterwards will continue again in 2018. Dice, Darts, Cards, etc.
- The guy that runs this thing played horrible again!!!! Had to apologize to his Shaler Alum Andy...
- Team drawing will be Thursday evening June 21st in the Sewickley Heights Men’s Grill.

Rules
Play With Your Partner in the First and Second Round
If there is an odd amount of players one guy goes home if his partner does not show. He must find a replacement if canceling last minute.
- $500 CASH Entry fee for all participants - 100% of the Entry fee goes towards prizes. Pay the OEC Committee upon arrival.
- NON MEMBER ADDITIONAL $200 Entry fee for 36 holes, lunch, dinner, and refreshments on course.
- $165 GUEST FEES A.K.A TRUMP TAXCUT SPECIAL. BREAKFAST, HOT DOG AT THE TURN, AND COOKOUT DINNER ON THE PATIO.
- This event is open to all SHGC Members and selected guests.
- If rain cancels event you will receive a full refund. The Old Elvis Cup rules committee will make an onsite decision regarding shortening, cancelling, or alternate dates.

Rules:
- Morning is a 9 hole SCRAMBLE.
- Afternoon is an 18 hole BETTER BALL.
- Overall is lowest 9 hole scramble and 18 hole better ball combined.
- Skins only on Better Ball 18.
- Morning Scramble payout for 1st and 2nd Place only.
- Tie goes to the better ball on 6 and 8 combined.
- Full Handicap for 18 Hole Better Ball.
- Handicap for the 9 holes scramble will be applied.
- Afternoon better ball will pay 1st and 2nd place.
- Overall will pay 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
- Any rules disputes will be answered by the acting Pro.

- Must keep each other’s scores and sign afterwards.
- Buffet lunch after morning round and to tee immediately after.
- 11:00 - 12:00 Tee times off the front AFTER THE MORNING ROUND.
- Dinner, prizes, poker, dice, gin, afterwards.

- (4) CTP Better Ball Only.
- 1st and 2nd place in the 9 holes scramble.
- 1st and 2nd place in the 18 hole better ball.
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall.
- Total Payout Overall is:
- Overall 1st Place 35%
- Overall 2nd Place 25%
- Overall 3rd Place 10%
- 30% of the pot goes to (4) CTP and Net Skins with full handicaps.
